§ 02 / Why now

ESPR is law from 19 July 2026.

The EU Central Registry switches on this summer. The textile Annex VIII delegated act follows in Q2 2027 with an 18-month transition. Brands that wait struggle to backfill data across hundreds of SKUs — and customer-facing QR codes don't appear overnight.

    All ESPR product categories must register. Filovera already produces the resolver-compatible Digital Link URLs.

    Textile Annex VIII drops

    Mandatory fields land for textiles: fibre composition, durability, repairability, recycled content. We've already built the database.

    Transition window closes

    By H2 2028 every textile product placed on the EU market needs a passport. Brands starting earlier ship the easiest passports.
